Blogging

This is the first real blog I have ever made and in turn; my first entry.

I was skeptical at first when some of my friends told me about their own and the blogging contests they apparently have. I just do not have a clue what to write about and even if I did write a big post about something I feel really strong about, who would actually read it?

But the fact is, I'm not too sure how to use my blog. Should I submit entries related to my own personal life, like a diary? Or maybe talk about a topic I have a strong opinion about? Maybe that's why blogs are so great, they don't seem to have any rules, they're just kind of there.

I was thinking maybe I'd do little "Artist of the Month" submissions to express and share my love for music. At least that way I wouldn't feel the need to bore my friends with it all the time, it would be at their own freewill, and possibly boredom that they would come see what I have to say.

Well, I believe it is tomorrow when we start the blogging contest, apparently it's to help January be a less boring month. We're supposed to blog everyday until the end of January with the theme of bad ideas, coincidence? ... I think not.
